A 17.3% hike to a basic M365 licence, folded in under a repriced Copilot/Cowork model, looks like the start of Microsoft's enshittification playbook.

Microsoft emailed me today to announce an increase of my M365 basic license by 17.3%; I cannot see any justification for a basic license being increased this much. I do not use their AI.

Microsoft changing their usage models for their Co-Work offering, under the cover, massively increasing the cost (as I was shown quickly by Matt Neal this morning).
